Selected candidates will be enrolled as Agniveervayu for a period of four years. Upon completion, based on organizational requirements and merit, up to 25% of each batch will be offered an opportunity to apply for enrolment in the regular cadre of IAF as Airmen. There is no right to permanent absorption.

QWhat are the key medical standards?

A

Minimum Height: 152 cm for Male & Female (relaxation for females from NE/ Hills). Chest: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion (Male). Visual Acuity: 6/12 correctable to 6/6. Other standards for hearing, dental, and general health apply. Detailed standards are on the CASB portal.

QHow does the state-wise domicile system work?

A

Candidates must choose and declare one domicile category (Permanent Domicile, COAFP-I, COAFP-II) for a specific State/UT during registration. Shortlisting for Phase-II, PSL preparation, and final enrolment are done state-wise as per allocated vacancies for that State/UT. The chosen domicile certificate must be produced during Phase-II.
